The Mission

The Clean Energy Working Group’s mission is to connect individuals and their communities to the resources they need to identify and implement community-based clean energy projects. We seek to educate, advocate and empower the Phoenixville area community’s governments and residents to adopt energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy technologies and practices for their homes, businesses, and local institutions.

We are building a working group to identify and empower volunteers with technical experts, environmental advocates and community activist who seek to support the transition to renewable energy. Join us!

Got Sun?

Join the clean energy revolution and start generating your own electricity!

Curious?

We’re neighbors promoting solar, here to answer questions & offering free roof assessments. We can present to a group, or answer individual questions about your clean energy options.

We’re currently recruiting people to join our “solarize” program, where we’ve secured a discount for bringing in more neighbors. The more we get, the more we save. And… you get unbiased responses to your questions, from neighbors.

What we do

  • Assess your roof & estimate solar potential

  • Compare with current usage & offer approximate cost

  • If needed, suggest ways to reduce electricity usage

  • Discuss “Electrifying Everything” to transition fossil fuel uses to electric

  • Share stories about local solar installations

  • Answer questions, resolve concerns

  • Organize buying groups

  • Connect you with area installers
